lET’S DO GREAT THINGS TOGETHER
Women of Lancaster was created with one simple belief at its core: women thrive in community. We’re here to build friendships, support systems, personal growth and a sense of belonging.
Our group (and events) are built around these values
Community.
A place to show up as you are, meet new people, and build real relationships without pressure.
Sisterhood.
Whether you’re new to the area, rediscovering Lancaster, or looking to expand your circle, you deserve a space where you feel seen, supported, and connected.
Inclusivity.
We welcome women from all walks of life, including trans women and femme-aligned nonbinary folks. Everyone deserves a comfortable, affirming community.
Our events focus on fun, creativity, exploration, and community — with alcohol completely optional.
Ease and Comfort.
Our events are designed to feel intentional and manageable, not overwhelming. You’ll never have to stand in a packed room trying to figure out who to talk to. We create experiences that with a natural flow.
Here, connection matters more than perfection.
gin rogers, Founder
Women with a strong social circle by age 60, are more likely to live to 85 years and older.
*Based on a Harvard Study by Claudia Trudel-Fitzgerald
Hi, my name is Gin. As a woman standing close to forty, I understand more than ever how vital community and sisterhood are to our wellbeing. Women thrive when we are connected and seen.
As a full-time content marketer, I also recognize how overwhelming today’s pace can feel. Not everyone wants to walk into high-pressure, open-ended networking events. My goal is to create meaningful, well-organized experiences that feel comfortable, intentional, and welcoming for women from all walks of life, with all sorts of interests.
Thank you for being here and helping strengthen this community. A participatory community is a strong community. I am a Texas native who has fallen in love with Lancaster, and I believe this city deserves a vibrant social group that highlights everything it has to offer.
Women showing up for themselves and each other
Community isn’t a luxury; it’s a lifeline, and in this day and age, it’s more important than ever.
Ever had a thought like this?
What’s going on around town? Where do I meet people? How do I make friends? I want to go out with my girlfriends. I want to have a best friend. I’m lonely.
It’s a super common question and Women of Lancaster was made as an answer to that very dilemma.
Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is a really special place, and it’s seeing an influx of people moving in. Whether you’ve lived here forever or you’ve just relocated, having a strong social circle is important.
And the best part? Our communities are stronger when we build connections, friendships, and lift each other up.
The best part? Having fun while doing it.
